ELA Standards and Technology (Grade K). With the help of adults, to explore an extensive assortment of digital tools in order to achieve writing skills and develop companion support. I feel comfortable implementing this style set into my skill set because I am convinced that I can lead a classroom of kindergartners with my lesson style. I'm more prepared since I've had the time to work around that age group and I understand the necessities that come with that age group. I chose this age group simply because of my prior experience and personally I consider that this is the simplest age group to work with.

The tool that I chose to implement in the classroom is the Fluency: Letter-Sound Mix-Up activity. I believe that this exercise would allow my class to engage with one another in an innovative way while also encouraging the love of the English language. For this activity, students will work together to match sounds with letters in order to find out which sounds match which letters. Of course, some letters have the same sounds such as the C' letter and the K' letter. However, with practice and peer assistance, I believe that students will work together to figure this out and become language experts. This exercise is perfect for the kindergarten age group because it would be enjoyable for them and would guide them with language skills that they can develop as they proceed to the next grade level.

It is important to know a proficient amount about internet searching in order to adequately find the best results for things you search for on the internet. The skill that I learned this week was how to properly ask search engine questions. Of course, we can type questions with almost incorrect grammar and Google or any other search engine will spit out an answer. However, there is a more refined way to ask your question in order to get the best results. For example, instead of asking Google 'I WANT PIZZA!" you could look up "Best pizza places in Tallahassee." and it will give you a more satisfying answer based on what was advised in that town. There is an internet skill that helps gives people a better answer. I don't know if anyone knew this but Google gives you answers based on your location. If you want the best answers to your google search questions there is a way to turn off your Google geolocation in order to find better answers to your inquiries. It is best to understand that sometimes Google gives us the answer that we want to hear.
